Meet Zach Selch
Zach Selch is the CEO of Jast Gift Lab, where he brings decades of international business experience — and a lifelong belief that the smallest gifts often carry the biggest meaning. A seasoned road warrior, Zach has traveled the world closing deals and building relationships, but he’s always measured success by the smiles waiting at home. Married for 26 years, and father to three children (plus one lively corgi), Zach knows firsthand the power of thoughtful, well-chosen gifts to bridge distance, spark joy, and create memories that last a lifetime.

Jast Gift Lab Corporate Overview
Since 1995, Jast has been quietly building a legacy—one that marries precision craftsmanship with the joy of gifting. Founded by Steve Jen Lin Chen, whose journey carried him from NASA and IBM to the heart of the toy and gift industry, Jast began as a small manufacturing operation in Asia. Within a year, the company expanded to a state-of-the-art, 100,000-square-foot facility, complete with a Hong Kong export office serving clients across the globe.
From day one, Jast has been driven by a simple but powerful idea: quality and care belong in every detail. That commitment has earned the trust of clients in the USA, Europe, Japan, and Australia, and since 1996, the distinction of TUV ISO-9001 certification.
Over the decades, Jast has invested heavily in research and development—securing multiple patents and pioneering “high-tech, soft touch” designs that delight both children and adults. Twelve inventions have been submitted for patent protection, with five already officially granted. Every product is shaped by a team of college-educated engineers, designers, and product managers who listen closely to client needs and translate them into beautiful, safe, and lasting creations.
Jast’s people are its heartbeat. Based in China, Hong Kong, and Europe, our diverse team brings decades of experience in electronics, paper goods, plastics, plush, and sewn products. We live by our own definition of TEAM: Together Everyone Achieves More. From a single chance project with Gibson Greetings to today’s global partnerships, Jast remains grounded in its mission: to make gifts that matter—thoughtful, well-made, and designed to bring people closer together, one smile at a time.
